mynote

Privacy Policy

Effective 3 October 2026

The short version: mynote does not collect, store, sell or share any of your data. Your note stays on your iPhone.

What mynote stores

mynote saves your current note, your archived notes and your settings (theme, font, text size and Live Activity preferences) on your device only. This data is kept in the app's private storage, shared only with mynote's own widgets and Live Activity on the same device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.

If you use iCloud or iTunes device backups, Apple may include this data in your backup under Apple's own privacy terms. Deleting mynote removes all of its data from your device.

What mynote does not do

Notifications and Live Activities

If you allow notifications, mynote schedules local reminders on your device (for example, shortly before your list would leave the Lock Screen). Live Activities, widgets, Controls and Shortcuts actions run entirely on your device. No push notification service or server is involved.

Children

mynote does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
