Tap Go Live at the bottom of the main screen. Your note appears on the Lock Screen, and you can tick checkboxes right there. Tap Live again to remove it.
iOS limits every Live Activity to 8 hours. With Auto-Refresh on (Settings → Live Activity), mynote schedules fresh Live Activities to take over just before each one ends, which covers about a day and a half. Opening mynote tops the chain back up. If it ever runs out, mynote sends a reminder notification. Tap it and your list is back.
Your list can also disappear if Live Activities are turned off for mynote in the iOS Settings app (Settings → mynote → Live Activities), or if you swipe it away on the Lock Screen.
You can also add the Refresh mynote control to Control Center or to your Lock Screen for one-tap refreshes.
Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, search for mynote and choose a size. Checkboxes on the widget can be ticked without opening the app. On the Lock Screen, touch and hold → Customize → Lock Screen to add the small mynote widgets.
Tap ⋯ → Settings → Theme. Pick any of the 50 themes, or turn on Match System Appearance to choose one theme for light mode and one for dark mode. Fonts and text size live under Settings → Note Text.
mynote is built for one clear list, not a long messy note, and the Lock Screen only has room for so much. Notes can hold 280 characters. Checkbox and bullet markers don't count.
Everything stays on your iPhone. Archived notes are kept under ⋯ → Archived Notes, where you can search and restore them. Deleted notes cannot be recovered, and deleting the app removes all of its notes.
